I have several external hard drives that I use very regularly. One I use to store most of my digital photography on. It is pretty handy when I am traveling and need a really large storage drive. The other thing that I use external hard drives for is for backup purposes. I find it the fastest and easiest way to back up really large amounts of data and huge files such as raw tiff files or large video editing files.
